All our requests were met with explanations on what we could expect and always gave us options on different ways we could complete jobs. Even on a budget Steve was able to ensure that our needs were met and all work completed to the highest standard. I would always recommend General Building co. I really appreciated working with the General Building Co. I got Steve in initially to talk though one of my projects and he was straight forward and nothing was too hard.I then had a new project that encompassed the first project. I liked that the team understood that my deadlines, challenges and I had shifted the work and deadlines. The priority was the new work and not the initial work but they worked hand in hand.They worked within my budget as some items couldn’t be done as I had envisaged but we got to a number that made sense to both of us.I spoke daily to the team who kept me abreast of all things to do with this major renovation of my home. I was able to leave them to do as they said they would and make sure everything was up to code and regulations as this was most important to me.Their team are professional and worked through anything that I through them. I plan to do my future renovations through the General Building Co.

What an awesome team. We used General building to install a cavity slider. From our initial consult, the advice given was great. Exceeded our expectations and was a great experience. I have zero regrets about using General Building Co. for my recent deck install. Steve was quick to arrive and thorough in his quotation which made me feel confident with my decision to use their services. Adrian and Elliot came to do the Sliding door install and build the deck. The guys were respectful, tidy and genuinely a joy to have here. Their work is immaculate and I am thrilled with the final product. I would highly recommend Steve and his crew if you need a Builder. Myself and my husband got the general building Co team to come out and replace our standard staircase walls on the top and bottom with glass panels and wood handrails.The total outcome of this was outstanding.The staff member Adrian was amazing his workmanship was excellent and his communication skills were great 👍.We would totally recommend this company (see the before and after photos). Thank you building Co and team for the amazing work. 👏

A very thorough, conscientious and highly reputable company that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for either employment or the undertaking of any building project.I had the pleasure of working for General Building Co for only a short period of 4 weeks. Due to personal circumstances, which they were extremely accommodating to, I had to move on. But in that time, I witnessed and participated in a variety of well organised jobs all of which were completed to a superior standard.

Thanks Steve for the continues communication and especially to Adrian who actually did an excellent job fixing my sinking and tired looking steps now it looks beautiful in front of my house. Nice job, nice blokes. I'll have more job to do in the future. Highly recommended. 🙏 I will be posting more pictures once all done up on sides.

Both Steve and Adrian were very professional and reliable. Nothing was too much trouble for them to explain and their work was exceptional in making repairs to an older house. Work area was always cleaned up and left tidy.
